Well it has been a long two month wait in the Port of Everglades as we awaited our transport ship. Well the day has arrived and Adventuress was moved from her marina to our awaiting transport ship the Adam Asynk. For any boat owner there is a period of anxiety during a normal haul out. Today Adventuress was pulled along side the Adam Asynk by our pilot Chris Leyden of Seaport Yacht Services. Then slings are lowered from a crane and divers position the slings under our girl. Than with a nice hoist up over 75 feet in the air, she is moved on deck and placed in her transport cradle.

Neptune was smiling on us today and the loading process went smoothly. We now will await for Adventuress to be moved through the Panama Canal and than up to Victoria, BC. We are eagerly awaiting to get Adventuress to her new home before the end of the year. That’s one heck of a Christmas present.
